We are pursuing Design and Project Engineers who are eager to transition to Project Managers. We are seeking Professional Engineers with a passion for problem solving, client service, and servant leadership. Responsibilities and Requirements

General Responsibilities

  • Provide project management oversight and apply engineering knowledge during daily operations
  • Lead the project development process 
  • Generate contract documents and subconsultant agreements
  • Track effort and manage resources
  • Organize and coordinate design elements with teaming partners
  • Provide professional mentoring of  EIT’s and Designer’s
  • Lead the development of schematic design and PS&E in Texas
  • Support other teams when needed to accomplish company milestones
  • Generate responses and material for SOQ’s and RFP’s
  • Active participation in a professional organization

Desirable Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (Texas)
  • Use Microstation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads to generate roadway alignments, cross sections, and/or models
  • Experience generating plans, specifications, and estimates for TxDOT projects
  • Utilize HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 to generate H&H Data Sheets, Culvert Layouts, and Bridge Layouts for stream crossings
  • Knowledge of closed storm sewer system design (inlet spacing, size, laterals, and trunk lines) utilizing Geopak Drainage
  • Experience writing and preparing Drainage Reports for floodplain crossings
  • Performing scour analysis utilizing TxDOT’s Scour Guide
  • Utilize TMUTCD to develop signing and marking layouts

  • Ability to manage concurrent projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel & Outlook. MS Project)
